Strengthen Your Spine with This Essential Stabilization Exercise!

- Thursday, January 18, 2024

This is a good exercise to help build up some stabilization muscles in the back.

Another exercise that's really good for building up some of the stabilization muscles in the back is this. So, there are two other exercises I just mentioned that are excellent for building strength. In between, you can do this exercise to help relax the back.

So you're gonna sit back into a child's pose position, bringing the hips down and arms in front of you. Your head should be resting on the floor. If you can't rest your head on the floor, use a pillow or something under your forehead to relax. Maintain this position for 30 seconds. After completing this for 30 seconds and allowing everything to relax, bring your arms above your head, raising your body so you're sitting up. Arch your back and keep your hips off your feet. Now, you're arching your back, engaging all the back muscles. Maintain this position for 30 seconds. You'll feel the muscles in the back engaging. Yes, those hips are working, and the back muscles are engaged. It's another way to help build strength in the lower back and hips.
